Dependent on the existence of Health Transfer Agreements some First Nations, or Tribal Councils, employ Community Health Nurses. This position may be involved in the delivery of health prevention/education for pre/post-natal, infant, child, youth, adult and elders. This position may also perform detection services such as screening and testing, and delivers or arranges for the delivery of health services for diagnosed health problems.
