Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Location: Neskonlith Education Centre, Chase, BC
Reports to: Principal
Salary: Commensurate with experience; benefits and pension eligibility per policy

About the Role

The Neskonlith Education Centre is seeking a certified teacher to deliver English, Social Science, and EDST for Grades 8–12. This role emphasizes inclusive education and integrating Indigenous world views and perspectives into learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and teach engaging lessons in English, Social Science, and EDST
  • Integrate Indigenous perspectives and land-based learning
  • Support student achievement through inclusive, trauma-informed practices
  • Collaborate with colleagues, families, and community partners

Qualifications

  • Current BC Teaching Certificate (or other Canadian provincial certification)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education (Master’s preferred)
  • Experience with inclusive/diverse classrooms
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Successful Criminal Record Check (required)
